Landscape Property Maintenance Foreman

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Landscape Property Maintenance Foreman to lead a maintenance crew in providing high-quality service to residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is organized, knowledgeable, and capable of managing both people and equipment while ensuring exceptional results and client satisfaction.

 

Core Capabilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a maintenance crew of 2-4 crew members.
  • Plain daily tasks, allocate labour, and ensure efficient work flow.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
  • Communicate clearly with crew members and management regarding daily progress.

 

Job Descriptions

 

Property Maintenance Tasks

  • Perform and oversee mowing, trimming , edging , blowing, pruning, hedge shaping, and garden bed maintenance.
  • Identify plant health issues, (pests, disease, drought stress) and report recommendations.
  • Seasonal tasks including spring cleanups, fall cleanups, mulching, aeration, fertilizing, and snow operations.

 

Equipment & Safety

  • Capable and confident to drive pickup trucks and 5 tonne landscape trucks.
  • Capable and confident to tow trailers from site to site.
  • Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and ensure tools are kept clean and functional.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and use of proper PPE.

 

Customer Service & Reporting

  • Interact professionally with clients on site when needed.
  • Report property concerns , extra work opportunities, or safety hazards to management.
  • Complete job logs, time sheets, and daily service reports accurately.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of landscape maintenance experience.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of turf care, pruning techniques, and general horticulture.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Hourly wage range from $25-$30 based on experience.
