Project Overview
The Garden Gathering Place was completed in 2019 in Flamborough. This award-winning backyard project transformed an outdated outdoor space into a more functional and inviting area for entertaining, relaxing, dining, and spending time outside.
The existing backyard had excessive gardens and aging decking, which made the space feel tired and less useful for everyday outdoor living. The goal was to create a better layout with a patio, fire pit area, pavilion-style structure, deck, and garden spaces that all worked together.
The Backyard Challenge
The main challenge was updating the backyard without losing the garden character that made the property feel special. The new space needed to feel open, practical, and comfortable while still keeping a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

The Design-Build Approach
Our team created a spacious stone patio with a fire pit area and pavilion-style feature as the main gathering zone. A new deck was added beside the house to improve the connection between the indoor living space and the backyard.
The full landscape construction scope included the stone patio, fire pit, decking, pergola structure, and manicured gardens. Together, these elements created a backyard that feels more complete, more useful, and better suited for entertaining.
